A superb, intimate hotel with a good-sized room, very comfortable bed, lovely bathroom, and daily housekeeping. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, and the themed dinner was different each evening and of good quality. The grounds are magnificent, with a superb view. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend it and we will definitely return.

Splendid decor, excellent location but difficult to walk back up from the center, decent breakfast, pleasant staff, amazing mojito and piña coladas – kudos to the bartender! Nice pool but not very clean, dirty sun loungers too – we even found guacamole and chips underneath! Expensive parking for a barrier that's constantly open. Very disappointed with the room, not up to the hotel's standard: outdated, peeling paint, stains on the walls, musty smell, poor housekeeping, filthy carpet in the common area. For the price of the room, we expected much better; luckily it was just for one night. The room was nothing like the photos on the booking website – poor value for money.

The rooms are in dire need of renovation; they're old and outdated. The bed is uncomfortable, and the bed frame digs in, as do the pillows. The best thing is the view from the pool, but be prepared to rush to the sun loungers, otherwise, the waitresses will shout at you and give you explanations. To get down to the beach, you have to descend 200 steps or go through another hotel. The peace and quiet at night is a welcome relief. The buffet offers a limited selection, but it's acceptable.
